TABLE THAI ADAPTATIONS
21CE TABLE THAI IMMERSION TRAINING Discover new dimensions of bodywork on your massage table during this three day Table Thai training. This course takes a deeper dive into the world of Thai Massage to explore techniques that require the therapist to be fully on the table with the client for maximum effect. At the end of this course you will be able to demonstrate a fully-body selection of Thai Massage techniques that have been adapted for table bodyworkers. This Table Thai Adaptations course is different from our Table Thai Explorations course because we utilize the table to execute techniques in a similar fashion as they would be performed on the floor. This means that the therapist must be able and willing to sit, lung and kneel on the table and, at times, on and around the client. A sturdy (and if possible wider) massage table that is capable of supporting the working weight of the therapist and the full weight of the client is required to complete this course and offer this type of session. Receivers remain clothed in loose, comfortable clothing during training and practice to make mobility easier and less restricted. Tuition includes a manual with photos. All levels welcome, beginner-friendly. Prerequisites : LMT who is able and willing to be fully on the table with the client and access to a table that will support both you and your client's body types. Table recommendation : We recommend a heavier portable table with a working weight of 800 lbs and a width of at least 30-32 inches (standard portable massage tables are usually 27-28 inches wide)
